Elizabeth Wolfe
REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for almost 20 years, I have always believed that food is medicine and that a healthy diet leads to a healthy life. However, this belief became a passion when I experienced my own health issues to which Western medicine had few answers. In my quest to heal, I studied integrative and functional nutrition and learned in more depth about specific foods that are both healing and inflammatory.
As a nutrition counselor, I take an interactive approach and enjoy working with each individual to find the best way to meet their health and nutritional goals. Whether your challenges include a specific dietary or health need, such as dyslipidemia, prediabetes, high blood pressure, or weight management, or just need help finding a healthier meal plan for your family, I can help. I have also worked extensively with women going through perimenopause and menopause as this life transition can be particularly challenging in regard to nutrition.
Besides being a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I also hold a Masters in Nutritional Science and have been awarded a Certificate in Training in Integrative & Functional Nutrition and a Certificate in Training in Weight Management for Adults & Pediatrics.
I am a native Californian and live in San Carlos with my husband, our two dogs and our three “almost” grown children. I enjoy finding new recipes to cook and appreciate that my husband will try anything! I also love to be outside, whether that is seeking out a new hiking trail or just walking our dogs around town.
