Microneedling uses a handheld multi-needle device to create depth-controlled micro-injuries to the skin. This stimulates the skin's natural repair process to produce collagen and elastin. Microneedling is ideal for anti-aging & scarring.
Michiko Marx, L.Ac. will guide you expertly through this process. To begin, numbing cream is applied (yay!), but you will feel a mild sensation during the treatment. Downtime is 24-48 hours. For the first 24 hours, your skin will feel tight, dry, and red. Staying out of the sun is necessary during the first 24 hours. The second 24 hours will be 50% better. At 48 hours you will be glowing and fabulous! Skincare products to make you feel more comfortable and beautiful are provided with the treatment at no additional cost.
Microneedling treatments can be done every 4-6 weeks. Best results are seen in 3-6 visits.
